Remembering Slavery 2007
Freedom and Liberty Exhibition
A new exhibition at Tyne & Wear Archives Service highlights archives on the Archives Awareness Campaign theme of Freedom and Liberty, including chartism, electoral reform, trade unionism and anti-slavery.
The exhibition will run during normal opening hours from 2 April to 5 May 2007.
Images from the archives can also be seen in the "Remembering Slavery" exhibition at the Discovery Museum until 23 June.
